This is a lot of 8 thimbles, 4 ofwhich are marked STERLING. One thimbleis marked Mexican Silver and the other three sterling thimbles are marked onthe inside. One of them is hard to read– I can make out some of the letters, but not all of them. The small cardboard box is marked DOLLY’SNOTES and shows the profile of a young woman.The box measures 2 7/8 by 3 3/8 by 1 ¼ inches. Nice lot to add to your thimble collection.
