This sale is for four empty PYGROS EGYPTIAN CIGARETTES boxes. The box is marked “A. Johnson & Co. Lowell, Mass. U.S.A. Cairo Egypt” The back is marked “Factory No. 200, 3rd District, State of Mass.” The boxes show no sign of ever having tax stamps affixed to them so I suspect they are new old stock. Inside has a note to the buyer \"To the Patrons of Pyrgos.......You are respectfully informed that these Cigarettes are made from the finest Turkish Tobacco and the best Rice Paper.......Yours respectfully..... \"
