1940s VINTAGE FABULOUS PEWTER METALLIC IRIDESCENT SHARKSKIN TAFFETA PARTY DRESS SWEETHEART BUST, M

DESCRIPTION:The crisp, swishy sharkskin taffeta is in a pewter metallic color which changes slightly with the light in iridescence. Has a gathered, ruched shawl collar which forms wide horizontal pleats on the back, a classic late 40s feature. Sweetheart neckline with \'petals\' on the bust, with white center stamens in each. In my opinion, the white stamens look confusing and detract from the beauty of the dress, I would remove them.Side metal zipper.The back of the dress is simpler, save for thedramatic collar.Shown withcrinoline, not included.Shown on size 4, 6 ft. mannequin.
