This leaf of early printing froma Biblia Graeca, Old Testament (Septuagint) Second Book of KingsChapter 3 (2 Sam. KJV), and was printed by W. Kopfel in Strasbourgin the year 1526. Originally from volume 2 of a 4 volume set theleaf is from the third edition of the complete Greek Bible editedby Johannes Lonicerus (Lonitzer). The octavo paper leaf measures162 x 99 mm. in totality and contains thirty lines of Greek typeprinted single column with versal indent and guide letter. TheVersocontains the same amount of lines and type. (Darlow & Moule4602) The leaf contains minor staining along the edges not affectingthe text.
