5\" Chinese Yixing Zisha Etched Clay Pottery Teapot Lovely Nude Woman / Lily Pads
Up for sale is a very beautiful and well crafted Chinese Yixing / Zisha clay pottery teapot featuring a lovely nude young woman. She\'s holding the bowl which is scaled or panel like a turtle shell and she and the bowl are sitting on 2 lily pads. Her hair is etched and there is a lot of detail on this piece missing from other pots I\'ve seen with the nude woman. The piece is signed twice on the underneath side of the lid. It\'s 5.5\" long from spout to back and 5\" tall. Her ponytail makes the handle of the pot. The pot bowl is approx. 3\" in diameter. This is in excellent condition and has likely never been used. I purchased this at an estate sale and do not know its age.
