Selling an authentic pre 1900\'s set of vintage American pressed back chairs. These are not repros as I pulled them out of our 125 yr old family farm house attic in the 70\'s. The seats were gone, which is common with these vintage Victorian chairs. Had the recaned, refinished.
These are MINT. No wobbles, extremely sturdy with ONE exception. The fifth chair has one leg that had to be redoweled and reglued. It is fixed, and you can\'t see it unless you really look.Used as a \"spare chair\" for guests.
Stored in an upperroom, no water damage, no smell, seats tight. hard to find in this condition. Pressed back design is in the shape of a fan, sort of an art deco, art nouveau look. You can see the condition in the first photo and the design if you zoom in. (Note: musical instruments or anything in the background photos are not included in this sale.
