This Rare Novel Potato Spike Holder and Spikes hales from the 1950\'s. A darling little piece of 1950\'s kichy Kitchen Ware. These pieces are rarely found in such Exceptional condition; displays wonderfully and is truly a conversation piece!
This vintage kitchen Spud Spike holder features a baked potato with a spud spike in his head setting on the front of the holder. He has big eyes, a smile arms and legs. This holder measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide.
The print of the piece is done in Black and Red and it says: These aluminum POTATO BAKERS sure give A FAST WARM UP\". The top of the piece features 6 holes that the aluminum spike fit into. There are only 5 spike remaining in this set.
The spikes each measure 3 1/2 inches tall.
Excellent Vintage condition! Wood Decorative holder is in Exceptional condition for its age. Colors are all Bright and Vivid. Graphics and Print are crisp and clear. The 5 spud spikes are still bright and shiny with not bends and all still have pointed bottoms. Smoke Free and Pet Free Household. THERE IS 1 SPIKE MISSING FROM THIS GROUP. There are 6 holes in the holder, but only 5 spikes. Does not detract from the piece.
