This is absolutely the best and most stable and adjustable banjo tailpieceever invented.

I wanted to put it on my Baldwin Ode... but the 2 brackets that it mounts to... were over 2 inches apart on my Baldwin... and I didn\'t want to notchmy rim and move brackets.

I installed it on a very cheap... practice banjo... and it worked fine...but I figured the tail piece shouldn\'t cost more than the banjo... thusI\'ll sell it.

It comes assembled... but you still have to take all the tiny pieces apart...and re-install on the 2 rear brackets on your banjo.

I wish someone had told me about the tiny parts... as when I unscrewed the screw... I dropped one of the tiny spacers... and thank God I was able to find it.

Be very careful and expect a tiny part to fall.... and if it does... make sure you have a cloth or tray.... to catch a small part... if it does happen to fallwhile you are assembling.

I can see why the banjo hut etc reviews are high on this tailpiece... as it really does provide a solid unmoveable tailpiece with an unlimited amount of positions and adjustments.

And one of the few options you have to improve a banjo.... is playing aroundwith the tail piece. This one really does work. If you want to sound like Earl... buy this tailpiece.

This is a NON RETURNABLE item... I don\'t want to supply a TP so people can try it and think they can send it back. Just in case you don\'t sound like Earl... plan on keeping it or reselling it back on . Refunds ONLY IF NOT AS DESCRIBED... and this is working and in perfect condition.
