These five buttons were recently found in the attic of the family home, where I am currently residing as I do a big clean-out over the next year. The buttons date back to the 1930s-40s and are an early plastic that have not been tested, but considering their age and appearance I believe they are bakelite plastic. A penny has been added to the display photo for size reference.
My mother was a child of the depression. She cut buttons from her worn out garments and saved them to sew onto her own beautifully constructed garments. I will be listing several lots of these found buttons over the next few weeks. Should you offer on multiple lots and win one, any other lots you win at that time will be shipped to you at no additional cost.
