What a wonderful collection and display pieces! Here are 6 antique Christmas gift boxes. Actually I think one of them contained a store shipment for those antique paper mache\' boots. Just incredible pieces! They probably range in age from the 1920\'s to te 1940\'s. There is a flat box with a blue background with Santa and Reindeer and poinsettia. Just to give an example size wise, this one measures 12 1/2\" by 8 1/2\". These are NOT teeny tiny boxes. The Chistmas \"boot\" box has a lovely old fashioned design of holly ivy and poinsettias and is from Christmas Novelties, Hardie Bros. Co., Pittsburgh, Pa. There is a another flat box with children\'s theme graphics of toys, animals, airplanes, blocks etc. Another older holly and ivy and pin branches one, and an old box that might have held small shoes, or a doll? with a Christmas tree bells, Santa, candle, etc. These boxes are not in perfect condition, a little peeling, one has a side a little pushed in a little tape here and there, etc. They sure did survive nicely for there age and again, make great display pieces!
