50\'s NAVAJO Sampler RUG 15.5x25 BLANKET NATIVE AMERICAN Weaving:

This is a great 1950\'s sampler rug measuring 15.5 inches wide and 25 inches long. It was woven in the 1950\'s on the Navajo Nation. This rug is in great condition, and is woven of nice hand spun Merino Wool both weft and warp. The weave of the rug is nice and tight and has a weft to warp count of 24 to 6. All four corners are in great shape with all four original tassels intact. The weaving has two two ply selvage cords on the weft and warp ends that are in the best of shape with no breaks and no repairs. The colors in this blanket are crisp and vibrant and are hand spun natural white, red, tan, reddish brown and brown. See the pictures its a great piece. There is no moth damage, no stains, no holes, no dye bleed, and no repairs in this great little weaving. It has never been cleaned before and is in great condition. Both sides of the rug are pictured. This blanket is Guaranteed to be Navajo and in the condition described. See pictures.
