Classic 50\'s vintage deep sky blue thick velvet high rounded boat style neckline alluring rounded scoop back triple darted elbow seamed 3/4 sleeve side bust dart princess waist and back high empire waist with piping trim and pleat front swing skirt big floppy bow back accent ultra fitted formal pin up proper lady cocktail dress in a fabulous XS size! Excellent ready to wear vintage condition! Please see close up pictures for texture, accuracy, color and detail! This is a simple pullover with a side metal Talon zipper for closure. Best picture of color is in the last photo of the metal zipper. There is a very thin scratch just a few inches down from the neckline as shown in picture #8. Otherwise dress is in pristine vintage condition! Very nice quality and well made! There are no maker, size or fabric content labels present, so please follow measurements below for proper fit! Dress is very small and there is no give whatsoever! Very thick and sturdy velvet with a soft solid cotton like backing. Dress is unlined but not sheer at all, fabric is way too thick! There is an acetate like lining along the neckline all the way around and a thin one at the hem, with 1 1/2 inches to be let out max if desired. Floppy bow in back hangs free and may need a simple stitch if you want it to be open and spread out. This is not necessary at all, just a personal preference. Inner seams are pinked. I believe this may have been handmade, if so it\'s a professional job, very nicely done with great attention to detail. Dress is very nice quality and well made, definitely built to last! I see no flaws other than a single scratch! No tears, holes, odors or stains at all! Such a gorgeous rare vintage find! Perfect for any very special occasion!
