This pair of 501 Levis were purchased in the early 1980\'s and last worn at that time. You can see they have a little wear but it\'s actually very cool and I\'ve shown you a couple photos of the \"flea bites\", or wear spots. I\'ve shown you close-ups, which really make them look bigger than they are. Actually, all of these are on the front of one pant let. The other pant leg, while showing the right kind of wear, it\'s all on the front a well...see the last two photos. Interesting the way Levi\'s wear...always unique and there never seems a rhyme or reason...just a cool look. Here\'s why you will want this pair of VINTAGE 501 LEVIS:
1) Great Condition2) Coveted size...Waist 35 / Length 33 NOTE: My current measurements for this pair of Jeans is: Waist about 34\" and the inseam about 28 3/4\"!3) Has small e in red tag meaning these are after 19714) Has blue ink on care tag dating the pair between 1970-19855) Stamped 6 on the rivet that backs the button at closure6) Flat silver rivets w/ L. S. & Co. S. F. (from between 1960\'s - 1980\'s)7) Inseam: single stitch down inner thigh dates before Mid- 80\'s8) Arcuate: the \"wings\" on the rear pockets are deep, indicating before Mid-80s9) Has bar tacks @ the pocket corners indicating pre 1990 or older10) Has the double stitching qualifications on hems and inside pockets of redline
OK, those are all the important information points regarding things some collectors look for. But what I say is this: This is a GREAT pair of sturdy Levis that when you put them on and wear them, they FEEL LIKE A PAIR OF 501 LEVIS! THERE IS NO LEVIS FEEL LIKE A VINTAGE LEVIS FEEL! I sold a similar pair from the same time and the buyer was very happy. And he paid more because there weren\'t any wear spots yet! I myself, bought and wore these Levi\'s back in the early \'80\'S! And when I could no longer wear them, they sat in my dresser drawer all these years...where they are sitting still...till someone purchases this last pair.
