54 X 34; 165 ct stunning Idaho opal with an abundance of fire (Under The Sea):

This is an extremely large Idaho opal triplet that was cut, shaped, sanded and capped in our shop. The opal cabochon is 54mm X 34mm and weighs 165.5 carats. It is wire wrapped in 14 carat gold and hangs from an 18 inch wheat style 14 carat gold chain.When looking at the photos of this beautiful piece keep in mind that the pictures do no justice to this stone at all even with appropriate lighting all of the fire cannot be captured like looking at it with the naked eye.We call this beauty \"Under the Sea\" because there appears to be waves of fire all through it.
