This ring can be resized by a good jeweler (the band is ribbed and that would change somewhat)and keep in mind that the fingers on the ring display are slender.

***These old opals are often referred to as \"agate\" opals.*** The true beauty of these opals is best appreciated in sunlight!

This ring is right between a size 6 1/4 and 6 1/2. I can tell the opal is very old in this ring, but it has nice color of red, green, and blue-purple. The setting is very ornate and measures 1 1/8\" x 1\", the stone is 18x12mm. (Note there is a scratch spot of the back of setting where the metal had been tested previously.)
