This a matched pair of natural turquoise cabochons from The Sleeping Beauty operation at Globe, Arizona. This mining operation was very productive in the past but is shut down now. It was a by-product ofthe copper mining operations.

I acquiredmy rough material frommy dear old friend, the late Don Jackson of Claypool, Arizona in the mid-1990\'s.

Each cab measures 11 mm X 7 mm X 4.2 mm and together weigh roughly 6.2 carats and they are backed.
