Offered from a local estate is a nice antique set of 6 Copeland\'s China rim soup bowls in the Stafford Patternwhich is gold trimmed and this set has raised cobalt blue feathers
These were marketed by Gilman Collamore & Co of NYC and are marked with their 5th Ave & 30th St address, where they did business from 1890-1920
This pattern was made again, by Spode (rather than the older Copeland only mark) from 1966-1971 and they are very similar to the china used in First Class on the Titanic(and also to the Spode china used for tea in the drawing room now on Downton Abbey)
They are scalloped and the feather trim is raised
They are 9 5/8\" across and 1 1/2\" high
No chips or cracks, no crazing or stains
There may be gold wear on the pieces
Matching bouillons are offered separately
These would also blend with Queen Anne or Chancellor patterns which have the same feather motif on rims
