Up for sale – a beautiful set of 6 antique Minton bouilloncups and saucers commissioned by Davis Collamore & Co. Davis Collamore & Co. was a high-end New York City importer of porcelain and glass. The firm, rivals to Tiffany & Co. and Black, Starr & Frost, commissioned designs from Copeland Spode and Thomas Minton Sons, that featured hand-painted details over transfer-printed outlines and often rich gilding.

Type: cream soupbowls with saucers, also called bouillon cups and saucers.

Description: goldencrusted, cream band with wonderful gold details on handles and outside ofcups.

Marks: The plates are all marked with the red crown Mintons England mark (usedbetween 1891 – 1912) and the underglaze mark for Davis Collamore & Co. andthe retail address at Fifth Avenue in New York.

Pattern: Each has a pattern number of g9875.

Size: saucers are about 5 1/2\" wide, cups are 4\" wide without handles and about 5 1/2\" with handles, and almost 2\" high.

Condition. Seeenlarged photos. Just beautiful! A fewhave crazing on inside of cups – especially in the cream bands, minor gold lossto edges of saucers, and tops of saucers. No chips or cracks.
