In excellent, undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.Only thing to mention is that I can see surface glaze crazing on 3 of the plates - nothing too serious but needs to be mentioned.Other than that, they are really in mint condition - purchased from a local estate that was packed away in storage for many years.Looks to have never been used - no staining, just shiny and new looking.A wonderful addition to your Countess service.

Here\'s a little story about Royal Doulton \"Countess\" pattern.When we were last in England in April 2016, we visited several National Trust houses and gardens. One of those we visited was Standen, in West Sussex. The house was built during the arts and crafts period in the late 1800\'s. There were many interesting things to see in the house, such as the wallpaper and textiles designed by William Morris and the lustreware and ceramic tiles by William De Morgan. But we were most surprised when we walked into one of the large dining rooms to see the table fully set with Royal Doulton in the \"Countess\" pattern! See final picture.
