6 STUNNING VINTAGE FRENCH NAPKINS SERVIETTES G C ALL HANDSEWN DAMASK HUGE:

This is a wonderful set of 6 huge lovely French damask napkins with the initials G C embroidered in the center of each napkin. These napkins are in fabulous condition having had little use.
As the photos show the monogram G C sits within a central pattern, having been worked in fine silk threads and still stands very proud of the napkin, these should always be ironed on the reverse so as not to damage or flatten the monogram in anyway. The complete monogram measures approx 5.5 cms x 6 cms. The hems have all been turned and sewn by hand.
The fabric is a snowy white linen and cotton mix with plently of body and weight and as ever with the damask the pattern is lovely but always so difficult to capture on photographs.
The napkins measure 56 cms x 56 cms (22 ins x 22 ins)
