6Vintage East GermanCarved Wood Angels with Musical Instruments – Mandolin, Guitar,Trombone, Drum, Cymbals and Horn. Each measure approx 2.25”. Incredible detail. Love the poses of the arms and the bent knees. The skirts are like ruffles or pleats. And the variations in woodcolor and wood grain add dimension. On the heads of the angels is asmall brass headband with a star in the center.

Madein the 1950s in the Erzgebirge area of East Germany.

Excellentpre-owned condition. I boughtthem at a living estate sale and the 80+ year old woman said she hadthem a very long time. One angel\'s star is slightly bent. It is NOTbroken or cracked. There is no damage to the wood and the glue hasnot discolored.
