Offered in this sale is an assembled group of six deep cobalt \"Bristol\" blue hand blown glass finger bowls that I believe are English in origin dating to the late mid to later 1800s. No two bowls are exactly alike. They vary in size from 2 1/2\" tall x 4 3/4\" in diameter to 3 5/8\" tall x 4 3/4\" in diameter. They have polished pontils or cut polished bases which you can see illustrated in the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th images. The two bowls illustrated in the 2nd & 3rd images are in excellent condition, however, one has a band of interior surface staining from liquid left in the bowl and the second has overall interior staining otherwise neither of the two bowls has any chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Nowadays, this can be easily polished out. The other four bowls are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. In addition, these four have no interior surface staining. Be sure to enlarge and zoom each image for a close up view of the detail and condition. Please feel free to email with any questions.
