Selling a lot of 7 early 1800\'s paper documents from the Gunby family of the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. The lot includes one slave document that is over 200 years old. The document is dated 1810 and is a note due in the amount of $20 for the hire of negro Davy for 6 months in 1809. CONDITION NOTE: The document was folded in half and then folded again. There is a seperation in the crease from the right side to the center and a crease seperation that runs from the left side toward the center. It still is together, but is fragile. Very nice handwriting on this piece and it would display well.There are other documents in the lot (all pictured). Please check all photographs for lot content and condition.
