ATsale are seven clippings of the Hambone’s Meditations, an African-American caricature cartoon created in 1916 by J.P. Alley and drawn after his death by his sons Cal and James. These are from the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Threeare undated, and the others are dated 1-6-49, 6-30-52, 5-19-53, and 10-27-66.
