These old mercury glass bead garland \"PIECES\" are really just PARTIAL garlands - i.e., what\'s left of them now...
And as shown in the photos, there is visible damage/broken bead pieces still attached to some garlands. There is also visible PAINT LOSS to several of the garlands.
I think these will be ideal for crafting projects (like using them to dress up old bottle brush trees).
The colors are beautiful & some are much less common - the bottom 2 show browns, ambers, & burnished gold.
Likely circa 1920s -1940s, the beads on all of these are larger than the more common smaller-bead-size garlands.
The approximate lengths of each piece (from top to bottom) are:1.) 14\" & the size of the beads is about 1.25\" (INCLUDING the \"cylinder\" ends)2.) 8.5\" & the bead size is about 1\" (w/ the \"cylinder\" ends)3.) 10\" & the bead size is about 1\" (w/ the \"cylinder\" ends)4.) 9\" & the bead size is about 1\" (w/ the \"cylinder\" ends)5.) 10\" & the bead size is about 1\" (w/ the \"cylinder\" ends)6.) 4\" & the largest bead size is 1& 1/8th\"7.) 4.5\" & the largest bead size is 1\"
