The large and heavy round bowl has deepvertical ribs on the exterior with an outwardly angled rim and smoothinterior are inspired the houses of the zodiac and radiance ofcelestial bodies. It is through this interplay of reflection,refraction and transparency that the material colour andthree-dimensional properties of the form are created and emphasized.The creation of a modern style through traditional inspiration is thehallmark of Scandinavian masters and the resulting modernism of thispiece suits inclusion in any style interior – contemporary to antique.
