Description
Gorgeous set of 8 antique 19th century French Sevres porcelain 10\" plates. Hand painted with assorted romantic scenes of a courting couple in a charming pastoral setting. Beautifully rendered, with fine details and bright colors. Framed with gilt decorative borders and trim. Crowned with a gold gilt monogram. The set is in overall good condition. No chips or cracks. Wear to some of the gold gilding commensurate with age and use. Marked with green Sevres marks and date mark for 1872
