Offered from a local estate is a gorgeous set of 8 antique Dresden, Germany dinner or cabinet plates by Franziska Hirsch
These hand painted, scalloped and embossed gold trimmed edge plates each feature a different Dresden floral style bouquet with varied flowers in similar palateof Purples, Yellow, Orange, Blues & green
The rims feature small bouquets between stylized fan shapes or shells with double scalloped edges
There are 2 different Hirsch marks on the backs, one used from 1896 to 1930 and the other from 1901 to 1930, so this is probably an assembled set though the edges match
Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, there may be rubbing wear to the gold or light surface scratches, but good glossy finish still on all.
