Here is an absolutely gorgeous late 19th to early 20th century flame mahogany Victorian sofa with carved back rest and upholstery on all sides, making it perfect to \"float\" in a large open room. This lovely sofa is in very nice condition for it\'s age. It was reupholstered in the latter 20th century in it\'s current high quality textured dark fabric which is clean and works with it\'s massive frame. Note the sunlight was playing light on the sofa through the trees in my photo\'s, but the fabric on the couch is lovely and free of any staining or other issues. The beautiful flame mahogany veneer on this piece is in particularly nice condition with only a tiny bit of chipping along the bottom of the front bottom rail and the feet. I\'ve included a number of photographs from all side in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition, construction and overall beauty of this delightful old Victorian sofa.
This delightful sofa measures 85 inches long and stands 39 1/4 inches tall and measures 31 inches front to back. The actual seat of this large comfortable sofa with a sturdy firm seat is 70 inches long and 22 inches deep, front to back and is 16 1/2 inches tall above the floor. This is a large substantial sofa in marvelous condition, ready for use as is in your home or place of business today.
