Looking for a \"Home\" to provide a little TLC here is alovely antique FrenchSFBJ doll.Doll is incised on the back of her head with what looks likea number \"26, SFBJ 60 Paris, 12/0\".I do not know her past but will describe her the best I can with any flaws.Measures 9\" tall being a bisque socket head on jointed composition wood body with paintworn fingers intact.Doll is strung a bit loose and needs to be tightened up a bit, jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. Overall wear, scuffs and paint loss throughout body.Looking at her bisque head I see a small split on the rim, some old glue residue from a pate, there is a wire that goes down into the neck area, another wire across (see photos). There is plaster cement inside that was used to secure the sleepy eyes on rocker as most doll people do. I do not see any cracks on this bisque socket head beside the small split on the rim. A \"sweet\" littleface withopen and close blue glass sleepy eyes, left eye is missing upper lashes, eyes \"may need to be set\" theyseem to want to be looking up all the time. Doll has brown painted brows, open mouth with upper teeth with lovely blush on her cheeks I do not see any paint rubs or scratches. I notice a dab or red paint above the upper lip, I do not know her past history and or if any touch ups were made. Wears a dark blonde replacement wig that slips over her head.Her very \"worn\" and tornremains of her human hair wig are also included with her. She wears antique undies with half slip, orange and cream color dress needs a little sewing restoration or you can replace it. Poor little doll needs a pair of stockings and shoes.I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos as they will serve as part of this description.
