1900\'s Antique Handmade 925 Sterling Silver Carnelian Marcasite Pin Brooch, 9.0 grams
This intricately designed, very rare handmade 1900\'s antique brooch is absolutely gorgeous.
This piece was handmade in France, during the very decorative Art Deco Era out of 925 sterling silver.
The brooch was totally hand carved and each marcasite gem and there are many, was added by hand.Beautiful red carnelian gemstones were hand cut and attached to the brooch and a decorative milgrain design trim was hand carved around the edges.
There is a thick, trombone mechanism with a push pull safety hand soldered to the back, to hold the brooch securely in place.This amazing brooch measures 1.12\" x 1.68\", it will make a bold and beautiful statement when worn.
This piece sparkles so that the few missing marcasite gemstones are barely visible to the eye.
This gorgeous brooch could easily become a treasured family heirloom..
The brooch is not stamped with the karat, so it was tested in the store, it tests sterling silver.
