Islamic metalwork -dating from the 19th century.
A hand wrought, hammered and raised copper bowl - the base resting on an applied tapering collet form foot.
A broad central band incorporates two inscribed cartouches - see images 8 & 10. The chiseled decoration also incorporates arabesques and scrolls.
Internally, the surface is fully tinned.Overall diameter - 5 1/2\" (140mm), height - 4 7/8\" (124mm).

Condition - Very Good. Traces of the original tinned finish. No major dents or repairs. Minor surface marks and bruises, (consistent with genuine age and usage). Fine natural colour and patina.
