Description:A very lovely first printing of the first edition of this lovely illustrated Winnie the Pooh book. Original red cloth gilt hardback. The book is in very nice condition. 103 pages. Illustrated throughout by E H Shepard. Original pictorial endpapers. Top edge gilt. Some wear to corner-tips and spine ends, a little fading to spine (see pictures). Light browning to half title and rear end paper. Internally clean and bright. Neat pencil gift inscription to half title. Binding sound and square. A really lovely first edition.
