This bottle is extremely rare and hard to find!It is the very first Owens-Illinois Duraglas bottle that was produced for the 1st A.B.C.B. national convention in San Francisco in 1950.A.B.C.B. was founded in 1919 as the American Bottles of CarbonatedBeverages and the name was changed to NSDA (National Soft Drinks Association) in 1966.The bottle has original metal cap and was never opened.Made of green transparent glass.It has picturesin orange, white and yellow colorsof San Francisco attractions (Golden Gate Bridge, Seal Rocks, Coit Tower, Zoo, etc.).It is 9¾” tall and 2½” in diameter.On the bottom of bottle it says \"23 50 6A Duraglas 137-G\".The bottle is in great condition, no scratches, no chips.The surface of the metal cap has some wear that expected for this age but the red writing on it is fully readable (see photos).This bottle came from the estate of Pepsi-Cola executive who attended everyA.B.C.B. and NSDAconventions starting from 1950.I have the whole collection of these bottles.
