Up for sale a very beautiful 18th cIndoPersian Kardwith ORIGINAL SteelGripsCaved With full gold inlay wire workfrom anarmoryin -INDIA, A beautiful old Indian Kard Dagger with Original Marks on the blade with pure Gold work Handle and a Finehigh contrast Wootz pattern. The handle is of pure gold inlay wire work, a naturally occurring decorative., and held on by resin,roundels handle for a more aesthetic. The white natural inclusions float in the handle, and are a wonderfulMuseum Collection.It hasOriginal Velvetscabbard. A very nice example of a late 18th C. Persian with a laddered kirk narduban wootz blade. The blade has some light spots of pitting and needs a cleaning but the laddered pattern in visible throughout. A similar 18thcentury Kardis published in the “A Glossary of Arms andArmour's.Overall Size:- 33 CM Blade Size:- 21 CM Handle Length:- 12 CM.
