A Fine/Large Silla Pottery Incised with Comb Pattern StorageJar-5th/6th C.
Korea,Old Silla dynasty, 5th to 6th century.
Of globular jar with natural ash glaze and incised comb patterns on
the neck between two double lines, its typical blackish grey color was
produced in a reduction atmosphere. Some parts are covered with
ash glaze and oxidized on part of the body, the open worked base was doneperfectly balanced.
It’s in very fine condition, it measures35 cm h. x 23 cm d. (13 ¾” x 9”)
