A Foxhole View is a powerful and moving oral history of the Korean War. Here are highly personal accounts of the war from the rank and file of the infantry--told in the distinctive voices of Hawaii\'s soldiers. Louis Baldovi served as a rifleman with the U.S. Army\'s 45th Infantry Division during the Korean War. After his reenlistment in 1953, he was assigned to the Hawaiian Infantry Training Center at Schofield Barracks as an instructor and drill sergeant. He later served as a school teacher and principal for twenty-seven years.

It is softcover and is an ex-library copy. There are library stamps on the first two cover pages and the upper and lower page blocks, and a label on the bottom of the spine. Clear tape has been placed over the spine. It is in good clean condition for an ex-library book - binding is good; pages are complete, clean, unmarked [except the stamps to the cover pages], no dog earing or creases; cover is clean with a small bit of light wear, and some crinkling to the laminated clear coat.
