A Lovely Extra Large Vintage French Hand Embroidered, Verdure Tapestry of A Country Scene with birds. It is rare to find one of this size that is all hand embroidered. This dates around 1960, so not in a brand new condition, although its in a very good, clean condition for its age. It has been very finely embroidered, birds are all done in Petit Pointe, and the rest with a larger point. It has been backed with a thick cream cotton., with nicely bright colours, a really charming item.
