A Lovely Antique Solid Silver Sewing Thimble, By Henry Griffiths, Assay Hallmarked, Chester 1895.
This is a great little collectable antique, it does have a some small holes in the top indentations but all commensurate with its age and usage.
PS Silver is very difficult tophotograph because it\'s reflection picks up the photographer, hence any tinging. Also, these items are not new, most are over 100 years old, some 200 and over, so will have some defects, unless they had a charmed life.
