Porcelain. Two circular pots joined by a ring handle. Decoratedwith various hand-painted birds on the outside. The interiors withbutterflies and delicate gilded borders.

The overall length of this piece is 3 3/4 inches.

The base bears the blue crossed swords with hilts. Interestingly,the mark has been cancelled with two incised lines. This confirmsthat the piece was infact made at Meissen but, for some reason, wasnot considered to be of the highest standard.

Not withstanding the above, this piece is in excellent, original, soundcondition with no wear to the decoration.
