A Nice Pair of Vintage Lidded Beer Steins or Drinking Mugs: Made in \"Germany\" and \"Western Germany\"
Stein #1:Description: Marked \"HB West Germany\" on the bottom. It is9.5\" tall and weighs over 2 lbs. 5 oz. The image has a woman talking to two men. There are two inscriptions in German that I can\'t translate for you. The Alps (?) are in the background. I think the lid may be pewter. I haven\'t cleaned this piece.
Condition:Very good condition. No chips, cracks or breaks. There is light vintage surface wear.The images are good, and the colors are bright. The amber glaze on the bottom and top is overall good with slight surface wear. The metal lid shows some slight surface wear and dust. There are minor manufacturing variations. There are small manufacturing variations in the ceramic on the backside that are visible in the last photo. I don\'t think these are cracks or chips, but rather from manufacturing. It is about 9 1/4\" tall and weighs over 1 lb. 14 oz.It has an image of an elderly man and woman holding hands and two floral scenes with inscriptions in German.I think the lid may be pewter. I haven\'t cleaned this piece.

I can\'t date these steins, but I think they have some years on them.Overall, these two colorful German beer steins are quite nice, and they display very well.
