A Rare Early Fine Large Ormolu/Marble Portico Mantel Clock c1810.
A fine 4.5\" enamel dial with Roman numerals and original moon hands.
The 8 day movement on this clock is Hand Made (not machine made as the later movements of the 19th century) and is of fantastic quality, with silk suspension and outside count wheel. Complete with its original sunburst pendulum.
The clock also has its original glass dial cover which is very rare to find nowadays.
The movement striking the hours and half hours on a fine silvered bell.
The movement has been fully cleaned and serviced and is in full working order.
There are some minor nibbles to the marble in places but this is to be expected on a clock of this age.
This fine clock stands 16\" high, 10\" wide and is 5\" deep.
