IT\'S IN IMMACULATE CONDITION THROUGHOUT

DIMENSIONS OF: HEIGHT = 54 MM (2.12 INCHES HIGH INCLUDING TOP BAIL) WIDTH WIDEST = 37 MM PICTURE DIAMETER OF 28 MM

This is a fabulous GEM SET Antique VICTORIAN solid 15ct (0.625) gold picture locket of generous size, a very eyecatching item of antique gold jewellery indeed. 5 pence piece inset for size comparison.

This is a round locket with a picture slot diameter of 28mm. There is gold scrollwork to the top, sides and base edges with the two flower heads at the top being set with three turquoise gemstones each one, elsewhere the foliate leaf pattern scrollwork is set with 10 seed pearls. The articulating top bail is set with four seed pearls and this has an aperture of 5.8mm.

One can access the front and back picture slots by a pullout picture mount on the reverse side. (Please look at \'pulled apart\' picture of locket to understand this description more readily!)

INSIDE are original glass covers for pictures. At present the front has the original old photo and the reverse is purple watered silk fabric. Just replace the fabric and photo with your chosen photos (See photo of locket taken apart, picture slot dimensions are 28mm diameter).

At the base edge of the locket is the gold ramp marked \'15 ct\'. We have check tested to confirm this locket is 15ct. 0.625 gold standard. (See picture).
