This is a vintage set of beautiful dove figurines from Italian Sculptor Amicare Santini (A. Santini), by Classic Figure with a label on one.
They are in great condition. Each measures approximately 3 1/2\" x 4 1/4\" x 3 1/2\".
They are of a solid figures.Offered as shown in the photos which are part of the description and show condition.
The material is a compound of marble, alabaster and resin, found in the quarries near Volterra, that was poured into a mold and then hand-finished in the very old artistic Italian tradition and style of the great masters of marble.
Amilcare Santini was a sculptor born in Florence, Italy in 1910. His firm reproduces sculptures based on his original designs, and those of several other artists. Though he died in 1975, the firm remains in business and is still run by his family. The majority of his models are classical in style.A.
