Burmese, (Myanmar)- dating from the 19th century.
Hand carved from a section of native timber, the seated Buddha is depicted \'Meditating\' in Mudra - the Buddha is seated above a shaped plinth.
The surface has retained much of the original gilt finish.Overall height - 5 3/8\" (137mm).

Condition - Very Good. Signs of wear from genuine age and usage. No repairs. Natural colour and patina.
