A Victorian Walnut Stationery Box

This box is veneered in a pretty English Burr Wanut,

and has been embellished with gothic brass

and a pair of recessed glass inkwells

with a ebonized pen trough in front

at thr back is a domed top partitioned stationery rack

on the bases is a drawer with a brass handle

there is a coromandel freeze with four turned feet

on the underside of the drawer is a paper label for the retailer
