A very good pair of George III cast silver table candlesticks of shell and scroll decoration to a square shaped base. The stem with a circular knop and a fluted rectangular knop. Rope twist decoration to the base and capitals. Conforming shell cornered square shaped sconces.
Fully marked to the base of each for London 1753 by John Cafe. Each capital marked with the lion passant.
These candlesticks are in superb condition with no repairs, damage or distortion. The sconces fit well. The colour and patina are excellent.
