A Superb Solid Silver, Early George 111 Old English Pattern, Dessert or Serving Spoon, by George Smith 111, Assay Hallmarked, London 1775.
This is a beautiful spoon, in exceptional condition for it\'s 243 years of age and usage, with minimal wear, and only a couple of very feint dints in the bowl, all commensurate with it\'s age.The spoon is 6-3/4\" (17.5mm) in length, and the silver weight is: 36g.
PS Silver is very difficult tophotograph because it\'s reflection picks up the photographer, hence any tinging. Also, these items are not new, most are over 100 years old, some 200 and over, so will have some defects, unless they had a charmed life.
