Coming from my mother\'s extensive vintage costume jewelry collection is this vintage 1950\'s era Juliana iridescent snowflake or flower pin that is in absolutely pristine condition with no issues. The coloring on this pin is absolutely stunning and my camera could honestly not capture the brilliance. It is made with hot pink/fuchsia and olive green watermelon tourmaline navettes -- one side of the navette is a hot pink color which then fades to a lighter pink and purple and blends into an olive green coloring on the other side. There are 10 of these rhinestones. There are also solid hot pink rhinestones -- a large hot pink round rhinestone in the very center and smaller round hot pink rhinestones surrounding the five large aurora borealis round stones. Hot pink rhinestones are also at the outer edges of the pin. The five large aurora borealis round rhinestones in the center of the pin have a crystal/pink coloring to them and the smaller round aurora borealis rhinestones which branch out from the base of the pin are more of an orange-pink coloring. The pin is made in two layer that are soldered, as well as riveted, firmly together and the pin has its original locking \'c\' clasp that is firmly attached and works properly. The plating is gold rhodium that is in perfect condition with no deterioration or verdigris. The size is approximately 2 5/8\" x 2 5/8\" with a slight domed shape and a 3/4\" profile. It\'s an absolutely stunning piece of Juliana jewelry and is one of their best examples of what they are so well known for. Offered with so high buyer will win!
