A Very Rare/Fine Korean Punchong Placenta Jarwith 3 Loops (Ears)-15th C.:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 15th century.
The global body with 3 loops on the shoulder and convertedmouth rim, decorated with
elaborate broadband of the impressed flowerheadsfilled with brushed applied white slip
and bordered by 2-3 paralleled lines, a large lotuspetals scroll band on the above of the ring foot.
applied beneath a very transparent glossy celadonglaze over all including the base,
its foot rim glazed partially. It’s in very mint condition with no damages at all.
Itmeasures 17.5cm h. x 20 cm d. (6 7/8” h. x 7 7/8” d.).
